Mental Health counseling
I have 20+ years counseling experience
using trauma-informed,
research-proven methods in a relaxed, comfortable manner.
My over 20 years of counseling experience enables me to offer research proven, individualized therapeutic care in a manner that is supportive and nurturing and tailored specifically for you. I specialize in treating trauma, stress, and anxiety, but also depression, borderline, relationship issues, childhood abuse and neglect, anger issues, narcissist and/or borderline abuse, and dissociation issues. I provide an unconditionally accepting environment enabling you to feel safe to work on what you need. Together we will work towards your goals in an effort to make your life more satisfying.
My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, validated and understood while we work together to help you overcome your struggles, heal from past wounds, and move forward in your life. You will set the goals you want to work on, and decide the pace we progress. My job is to listen and understand your issues and offer suggestions, support, or just be with you as you process and grow.
Telehealth counseling has been proven to be as effective as in person visits, and much more convenient. Imagine seeing your counselor from your computer in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Can't find time in your busy schedule? You can do a video session on your phone during your lunch hour. Imagine - all that help without the need to travel anywhere.
Due to licensing guidelines and state laws -- you must be physically located in Washington state at the time of each of our sessions.

For your safety and as it is recommended as best practices, my counseling uses the guidelines of Trauma Informed Care.
" Trauma-Informed Care understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma and promotes environments of healing and recovery rather than practices and services that may inadvertently re-traumatize ."
